RIBONG Limited Warranty

At RIBONG, we are committed to producing premium-quality products designed for performance, comfort, and everyday movement. This Limited Warranty applies to all genuine RIBONG products purchased directly from RIBONG or an authorised retailer.

Our Warranty

RIBONG warrants that our products will be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal, intended use for 90 days from the date of purchase.

If a product is found to be defective during this warranty period, RIBONG may, at its sole discretion:

  • Repair the product;

  • Replace the product with the same or a comparable product; or

  • Provide a refund where required under Australian Consumer Law.

Proof of purchase is required for all warranty claims.

What Is Covered

This warranty covers manufacturing defects including:

  • Faulty stitching or seams due to manufacturing;

  • Material defects present at the time of manufacture;

  • Manufacturing faults affecting normal use of the product.

What Is Not Covered

This warranty does not cover:

  • Normal wear and tear;

  • Cosmetic changes resulting from ordinary use;

  • Damage caused by misuse, abuse, neglect, accidents, or improper care;

  • Damage caused by washing or drying contrary to the care instructions;

  • Damage resulting from modifications, alterations, or repairs not authorised by RIBONG;

  • Damage caused by sharp objects, excessive friction, chemicals, pets, or environmental factors;

  • Products used for commercial hire, rental, or industrial purposes;

  • Products purchased from unauthorised sellers or counterfeit products.

The natural deterioration of grip technology, elasticity, fabric softness, colour, or appearance over time is considered normal wear and is not a manufacturing defect.

Grip Performance

RIBONG grip socks are designed to improve traction under appropriate conditions. Grip performance may vary depending on floor surface, moisture, dust, wear, body movement, and individual use.

No product can completely eliminate the risk of slipping, falling, or injury. Users remain responsible for exercising appropriate care during all activities.

Care Requirements

To maintain warranty eligibility, products must be cared for in accordance with the care instructions provided.

Failure to follow recommended washing and care instructions may void this Limited Warranty where the failure contributes to the damage.

Warranty Claims

To submit a warranty claim, please provide:

  • Your name and contact details;

  • Proof of purchase;

  • Clear photographs of the product;

  • A description of the issue.

RIBONG may request that the product be returned for inspection before approving any warranty claim.

Customers are responsible for the cost of returning products for assessment unless Australian Consumer Law requires otherwise.

If the claim is approved, RIBONG will reimburse reasonable return postage costs where required by law.

Australian Consumer Law

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.

You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.

You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if they fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

Nothing in this Limited Warranty excludes, restricts, or modifies any rights or remedies you may have under the Australian Consumer Law or any other applicable legislation.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • RIBONG is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss or damage arising from the use of its products.

  • RIBONG's liability is limited to the remedies available under the Australian Consumer Law or this Limited Warranty, whichever provides the greater protection to the consumer.

  • Except where required by law, RIBONG does not guarantee uninterrupted product performance or suitability for every individual activity or environment.

Changes to This Warranty

RIBONG reserves the right to update or modify this Limited Warranty at any time. Any changes will apply only to products purchased after the revised warranty becomes effective.
